Better Search Engine & More Features

In this update, we provide you with more relevant results when searching for servers and bots (using the search bar), tabs, and more markdown!

Search Engine

You can now find your desired servers and bots much easier with our improved search engine. This change will introduce server owners and bot developers to more exposure with better keyword searching.
  • Keyword searches now show listings that either have your keyword as a tag or include it in their name or description.
  • Like before, searches by tag or category will only return listings with that specific tag or category.

Tabs

To make content more direct and shorter, we've added tabs called Overview and About to unique listing pages. This change applies to smaller screens to help with their navigation, resulting in less scrolling. On the dashboard, we introduced the same change with Main Info, Additional Info, and About tabs that are applicable to all screen sizes. Navigating on these pages is now easier.

Markdown

  • Support for header-4 and subtext: e.g. #### Header 4, -# Subtext

Website UI/UX & Quality of Life Improvements

Discollab just got a long overdue facelift featuring not just stunning visual improvements, but an overall improvement to website and bot infrastructure. We now have better performance, security, and provide various quality-of-life enhancements. With these improvements, your Discord server and bot listings will get more visibility than before.

As we introduce this update, our translations will be unavailable for a few weeks. We plan to make translations available again by the middle of this month. Thanks for your understanding!

Descriptions

  • Added a brief description to listings: Your listings now display a short, straight cut description on its small card (applies to the home/servers/bots pages). Alternatively, when a user visits one of your listings, your originally made full description will now show exclusively on that page with any markdown you provide. To create a brief description for your listings, head over to our dashboard!
  • Added markdown support for images: This, and all other markdown is only available in the full description of your listings. More info on our markdown here.

Other

  • The homepage now exclusively features Recently Bumped Servers, New Servers, and Most Popular Bots. This selection of listings maximizes the visibility of active and beloved Discord servers and bots.
  • Improvements to the way your unique server/bot's listing page is shown on Google with better metadata; enabling more growth for you.
  • Infinite scroll when viewing all servers/bots. No more pagination.
  • NSFW listings are now blurred by default. We plan to get more aggressive with handling and displaying NSFW listings.
  • We updated our Guidelines, Guide, Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy.
  • Security and performance improvements.
