Learn how to get started with Discollab! This guide outlines how you can add a Discord server or bot, interact with listings (bumping, voting, reviewing), how to use markdown, vote webooks, and more.
September 7th, 2025It's super easy to add either a Discord server, or bot to our website. Once you do you'll be happy you did! We have dedicated articles for adding a server and adding a bot which provide you with a detailed walkthrough on how to do it. Remember, you can always reach out to us and our community for assistance if you need it. Refer to the Support section at the bottom of this page.
All bots added to our website must go through a reviewal process which can take up to 24-hours. Servers are instantly accepted, no review! Just be sure to follow our guidelines to ensure your server (and bot) listings aren't disabled by us.
We provide server listings with bumping! Bumped listings are sent to the top of Discollab's directory, this allows a constant cycle of listings and ensures active listings are given priority over inactive ones. You, or your members, can bump your listing from within your Discord server by using /bump with our Discord bot. You can also bump your own listing directly on Discollab when logged in and viewing its unique page (https://discollab.org/server/123). Bot listings can't be bumped.
Any listing on Discollab can be voted for by logged in users. Users can vote for your server listing by running /vote with our Discord bot in your Discord server. Both server, and bot listings can be voted for by visiting the unique voting page for that listing. Votes are reset every 2 months.

Any listing on Discollab can be reviewed and rated. Reviews are permanent and provide users with useful, human insights on any Discord server or bot. Reviews are moderated and can be deleted if they violate our guidelines.

When any user votes for your listing on Discollab (on our website or by using /vote with our Discord bot in your Discord server), we'll send a webhook to the API endpoint you provide us with in your dashboard. This webhook will provide you with information on the vote, allowing you to track and reward voters! For more info, visit our docs.
