Dashboard & Webhook Improvements

October 1st, 2025

Nothing major, just some improvements and fixes you probably won't notice. They've definitely bettered the site and your experience!

Vote Webhook Changes

You can now test the functionality of your webhooks! Use the "Send Test Webhook" button on our dashboard. We've also added 2 new fields to the payload we send out per-vote:
  • New field vote_again: This field contains an integer value indicating the next time the user can vote for the listing in seconds.
  • New field voted_on_iso: This field is the same as voted_on but utilizes ISO 8601 with UTC for consistency across systems. With this change, voted_on will be deprecated and removed from the payload on January 1st 2026.

New Preference

Our Premium (II) members can now alter the way badges appear on listings and user profiles:
  • Badge Style: It's pretty self-explanatory — there are 2 options, "Icon and label" and "Icon only".

Specify Your Bot Prefix

You can now specify the prefix your Discord bot responds to — visit our dashboard to add it! Why wasn't this a thing already?

Improvements and fixes

  • The dashboard tag creation section now has tag auto-complete to show existing tags that you can add, helping you find commonly used tags — allowing your listing to show up in more results.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the error message "This vanity URL already exists" when saving a listing with a vanity URL on the dashboard.
  • Added the time a server was last bumped to its unique page, under the "Details" section.

Search Auto-complete, Review Replying, Preferences & More

In this packed update we bring some neat new stuff like the ability for owners to reply to reviews, search auto-complete, longer descriptions, and user preferences! We've also greatly improved the usability and functionality of our website.

Replying to Reviews

We understand it's important for owners to interact with their users, so server/bot listing owners can now reply to any review that has been left on their listings! As a reminder, if you find that any review is spam, or false, please contact us in our Discord so we can assist you.

Search Auto-complete

When using the search bar on the servers/bots page, you'll notice that we now provide auto-complete suggestions as you type inside the bar. It'll show you tags relevant to the words and letters you've typed. You can now find exactly what you're looking for, faster.

Preferences

With a small revamp to the design of the user profile page, we're now introducing the ability for you to set preferences here on our website — like how you see NSFW listings, and website color theme. Visit your user profile page and click "Preferences".
  • NSFW Listings: Allows you to either show them normally, blur them (default), or hide them to prevent them from showing up in your results entirely.
  • Color Theme: Adjust the color of all highlighted elements on every page. This is a Premium (II) feature.

Bug fixes and improvements

  • Your listings can now have up to 4096 characters in their full description, increased from 2048. We noticed some listings have their content cut-off due to length, not anymore!
  • Server/bot information (name, icon, etc.) now updates faster for enabled, public listings on Discollab.
  • Faster and more efficient counting calculations for votes and reviews. With this, the overall rating for a listing is updated as soon as a new review is created, or an existing review is deleted.
  • Fixed a bug where long words without spaces in a listing description would overflow the screen, causing horizontal scrolling.
  • Fixed a bug where Premium listings were incorrectly processed as regular listings, triggering a JS error on the servers/bots page.
  • Fixed a minor issue with the automation of providing Premium upon purchase.

Premium & More Translations

More translations, and BOOM... Premium is here! This update also includes various fixes, visual and functional improvements.

Premium

Finally! You can buy Premium. Every listing that's owned under your Discord ID will have Premium on it's card and unique page. Premium can still be won if a server or bot you own has the most votes during our vote reset, more info here. With Premium, we currently offer:
  • Bump every hour: By default, you're limited to bumping every 2 hours.
  • Automatic bumps: We bump your listings every hour, exclusively for Premium (II) members.
  • Vote every 8 hours: By default, you're limited to voting every 12 hours.
  • Unlimited vanity URLs: By default, you're limited to 2 vanity URLs.
  • Up to 10 relevant tags: By default, you're limited to 5 relevant tags.
  • No ads: They're annoying, but fund Discollab.
  • More visibility: Your listings are pinned at the top of our servers/bots pages.

Better Search Engine & More Features

In this update, we provide you with more relevant results when searching for servers and bots (using the search bar), tabs, and more markdown!

Search Engine

You can now find your desired servers and bots much easier with our improved search engine. This change will introduce server owners and bot developers to more exposure with better keyword searching.
  • Keyword searches now show listings that either have your keyword as a tag or include it in their name or description.
  • Like before, searches by tag or category will only return listings with that specific tag or category.

Tabs

To make content more direct and shorter, we've added tabs called Overview and About to unique listing pages. This change applies to smaller screens to help with their navigation, resulting in less scrolling. On the dashboard, we introduced the same change with Main Info, Additional Info, and About tabs that are applicable to all screen sizes. Navigating on these pages is now easier.

Website UI/UX & Quality of Life Improvements

September 4th, 2025

Discollab just got a long overdue facelift featuring not just stunning visual improvements, but an overall improvement to website and bot infrastructure. We now have better performance, security, and provide various quality-of-life enhancements. With these improvements, your Discord server and bot listings will get more visibility than before.

As we introduce this update, our translations will be unavailable for a few weeks. We plan to make translations available again by the middle of this month. Thanks for your understanding!

Descriptions

  • Added a brief description to listings: Your listings now display a short, straight cut description on its small card (applies to the home/servers/bots pages). Alternatively, when a user visits one of your listings, your originally made full description will now show exclusively on that page with any markdown you provide. To create a brief description for your listings, head over to our dashboard!
  • Added markdown support for images: This, and all other markdown is only available in the full description of your listings. More info on our markdown here.

Other

  • The homepage now exclusively features Recently Bumped Servers, New Servers, and Most Popular Bots. This selection of listings maximizes the visibility of active and beloved Discord servers and bots.
  • Improvements to the way your unique server/bot's listing page is shown on Google with better metadata; enabling more growth for you.
  • Infinite scroll when viewing all servers/bots. No more pagination.
  • NSFW listings are now blurred by default. We plan to get more aggressive with handling and displaying NSFW listings.
  • We updated our Guidelines, Guide, Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy.
  • Security and performance improvements.
