A quick guide to walk you through the process of adding a server and bot to our website.

Add a Server

Steps

To add a Discord server to Discollab:

  1. Invite our bot to your server, making sure it keeps the permissions it initially requests and nothing more.
  2. After logging into our website with Discord OAuth2, head over to our servers dashboard to setup the listing for your server, for more on how to do that please read below.

Required Info

When creating a listing for a Discord server here on Discollab, you'll need to provide the following:

  • Server Invite
    • The code for a permanent and unlimited usage invite link to your server.
  • Description
    • A full description for what users can expect in your server.
  • Relevant Tags
    • A maximum of 5 tags briefly giving more detail and visibility to your server.
  • Is NSFW
    • Learn more about whether you might need to mark your server listing as NSFW.

Keeping Your Server Listing Enabled

To prevent your server listing from being disabled and to remain publicly visible on our website, simply ensure the following:

  • Our bot is in your server, click here to invite it.
  • Invite code is valid and not expired.

Add a Bot

Steps

To add a Discord bot to Discollab:

  1. After logging into our website with Discord OAuth2, head over to our bots dashboard to setup the listing for your bot, for more on how to do that please read below.

Required Info

When creating a listing for a Discord bot here on Discollab, you'll need to provide the following:

  • Application ID
    • The ID for your bot, also known as its Client ID.
  • Bot Invite
    • The invite users will use to add your bot to their server. You cannot use a custom link, this will lead to your listing remaining automatically disabled.
  • Description
    • A full description for what users can expect from your bot.
  • Relevant Tags
    • A maximum of 5 tags briefly giving more detail and visibility to your bot.
  • Is NSFW
    • Learn more about whether you might need to mark your bot listing as NSFW.

Waiting For Approval

We have to verify all bot submissions before they're made public, so welcome to our review process! New bot submissions should take no longer than 24 hours to be reviewed. You can check up on the status of your bot submission(s) by visiting our bots dashboard, rejected submissions will be deleted and no longer shown on your dashboard. You can't delete or edit a bot submission. For questions or concerns, feel free to reach us in our Discord or email us at [email protected].

Keeping Your Bot Listing Enabled

To prevent your approved bot listing from being disabled and to remain publicly visible on our website, simply ensure the following:

  • Invite link for your bot begins with a valid invitation link prefix. You cannot use a custom link!
  • If provided, the support server invite code is valid and leads to a server related to the bot.
  • Your bot is enabled as a "Public Bot", refer to the Discord Developer Portal.

Claiming Your Roles

In our Discord, we offer the @Owner of a Server and @Developer of a Bot roles to members who have a listing here on Discollab! To claim your roles, ensure you have a server or bot added to Discollab, then head over to our Discord and run /claim.
